For the conversion of costs from Polish złoty to US dollars, I used the exchange rate from June 22, 2024, which was 4.04 PLN/USD.

According to Chase, the average American spends approximately $475 per month on groceries and an additional $303 on dining out, totaling around $778 per month for food-related expenses in 2022 (Chase). I could not find data for the year 2024. Due to inflation, food expenditures in the USA are higher than in 2022. However, I will use the value of $475, as it is the only information from a reliable source that I have.

Based on this data, it can be calculated that a couple can save approximately $548 per month.
